Hydrophilic

Optima Clear & Optima TRU

Optima Clear and Optima TRU are hydrophilic acrylic foldable intraocular lenses designed with advanced aspheric optics and a 360° square-edge design. The range offers both clear and yellow optic options to support different clinical and surgical requirements.

Optima Clear features a hydrophilic acrylic optic, while Optima TRU features a yellow hydrophilic acrylic design with UV filtering. Both lenses incorporate aberration-neutral, negative aspheric biconvex optics and are designed to provide reliable optical performance with a foldable intraocular lens platform.

Optima Clear & Optima TRU

Advanced Optics for Enhanced Visual Performance

The Optima IOL range incorporates aspheric optical technology designed to manage spherical aberration and support improved visual quality. Its optical design is based on aberration-neutral and negative aspheric characteristics, helping to achieve a more controlled optical performance.

The optical comparison presented for the product range demonstrates the difference between conventional spherical optics and aspheric IOL designs. The negative aberration design is presented with a focus on sharper vision and improved contrast sensitivity, while the 360° square-edge design provides consistent optic-edge protection.

Designed for Precision and Performance

The Optima range combines hydrophilic acrylic material with an advanced foldable lens design to support modern cataract surgery requirements. The lenses feature a 6.00 mm optic size across the main product configurations, together with different overall diameters and haptic designs.

The product range incorporates a 360° perfect square edge around the optic edge and is available across a wide power range. Selected configurations include double haptics, four-point fixation, and plate haptic designs, allowing the product range to offer different structural options.
